UMMC physicians work in state-of-the-art facilities.

The medical center is home to the University of Maryland Children's Hospital, a regional resource for diagnosing and treating infants through young adults.

The Children's Hospital has a dedicated pediatric emergency where experts care just for kids.

They also offer a 52-bed Level IV neonatal intensive care unit as well as a 19-bed pediatric intensive care unit.

The University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center is a National Cancer Institute- designated comprehensive cancer center providing specialized clinical services for treating all types of cancer. The Stoler Pavilion, a 25,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility provides outpatient care for cancer patients on campus. UMMC is also home to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, one of the highest-volume trauma centers in the United States and the designated trauma hospital in Maryland to treat the most severely injured and critical patients.
