Residency Programs

At University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center, we are committed to training the next generation of healthcare professionals. We offer these residencies: 

• Nurse Residency - This one-year program supports new nurse graduates  focusing on three critical areas: leadership, patient outcomes, and professional role. 
• Critical Care Residency for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) - This one-year, post-graduate training program trains APPs in a wide range of technical and procedural skills through simulation, educational courses and clinical rotations.
• Pharmacy Residency - This pharmacy residency program for first year post-graduate pharmacists allows for a variety of clinical opportunities based on the resident's goals, interests and experience.
