The Tate Cancer Center at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC) opened in 2003 and is named for community philanthropists Creston and Betty Jane Tate. The center provides cancer patients with high-quality outpatient care conveniently located on the hospital's campus, all under one roof.

Since opening, the center has provided expert cancer care close to home to more than 20,000 individuals.

The Baltimore Washington Medical Center Foundation is proud to support cancer care at UM BWMC through ongoing fundraising efforts for the Tate Cancer Center and the Aiello Breast Center.
