Welcome from the Division Director
Welcome to the Community Psychiatry website, a place where I hope you will find useful information and resources for yourself, family members and/or friends. I am very pleased to introduce you to a multidisciplinary team and set of programs designed to reach out, understand, and partner with individuals with mental illness. We strive to work with clients in defining personal goals and strategies for the purpose of recovering a meaningful life and return to satisfying, productive living in our community.
In the information that follows you will discover a wide range of services available for individuals age five and older. Programs are flexible and designed to consider consumer choice first. I am very proud our highly dedicated, sensitive and hard-working faculty and staff. In our programs there are no limits on what a person can accomplish and there is no goal too high. It is a matter of breaking goals down to achievable pieces and working one day at a time, one step at a time. There are three important factors: believing, achieving and succeeding. I and my staff look forward to meeting you and working with you and your family.
Jill A. RachBeisel, M.D.
