Breast Cancer Surgery

The majority of women who have breast cancer can have their disease successfully treated with a lumpectomy; however, some women may require mastectomy for adequate surgical treatment of their disease. This is no longer as disfiguring a procedure as it once was, and immediate reconstruction is available.

Our reconstructive techniques have improved dramatically. Reconstruction can be done either with an implant or with a woman's own tissue. We also offer areola-sparing and nipple/areola-sparing techniques for a look that is much more natural, even in a bathing suit.
