Our Subcommittees are each co-led by residents & faculty from the Department of Pediatrics.

Education Subcommittee

  • Developing a longitudinal Social Justice curriculum integrated throughout the residency curriculum, centered on Social Determinants of Health
  • Identify & curate educational resources for all members of the department related to social justice, diversity & inclusion

Recruitment & Mentoring Subcommittee

  • Creating a network of mentorship across all levels – Faculty, Senior Resident, Interns, Medical Students & between department

Community Engagement Subcommittee

  • Making connections in the community for residents & faculty to become involved
  • Identifying community partners & resources for our patients in need and supporting those efforts in the community
