Training for Residents and Fellows
HIPAA Privacy Training
The HIPAA Privacy regulations require that our workforce is trained regarding the HIPAA Privacy requirements. This training program was developed through the collaborative efforts of members of the School of Medicine, University Physicians, Inc. and the Practices. It provides the basic foundation on HIPAA Privacy regulations.
The 101 course is for everyone engaged in or associated with the clinical practices, all University Physicians, Inc. administration employees, and all School of Medicine employees and students.
The course has been designed to take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. The course should be completed within a single section as it has not been set up to permit a pause and return to a set point during the training. Depending upon your internet browser, you may not see all the clip art or other images but all of the content should be displayed.
Please contact your program director for instructions and login information.
