UM Shore Medical Pavilion at Easton-Children's Heart Program
The Children's Heart Program focuses on providing compassionate and comprehensive cardiac care for children from before birth through adulthood. Dr. Pietris is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. He is a member of the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography. His clinical focus includes general pediatric cardiology, cardiopulmonary exercise stress testing and cardiac non-invasive imaging (fetal, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, cardiac CTA/MRI).
The Children's Heart Program at the University of Maryland Children's Hospital is ranked among the nation's top 50 pediatric cardiology and heart surgery centers for the second year in a row, according to the 2019-2020 edition of the U.S. News & World Report Best Children's Hospitals. There are nearly 200 qualified pediatric centers in the country.
