The Clark Comprehensive Breast Center's coordinated team approach minimizes the worry of dealing with a breast health issue. From the time a patient makes his or her first appointment, through any treatment or follow-up care needed, the Nurse Navigator will be available to offer support and answer questions about screening, test results and appropriate next steps in the plan of care.

A cancer diagnosis can leave patients feeling stunned and overwhelmed, but, at UM Shore Regional Health's Clark Comprehensive Breast Center, they don’t have to navigate the cancer journey alone. From initial diagnosis until a treatment plan is established, the Nurse Navigator guides patients through initial testing and appointments, answering questions and providing emotional support every step of the way. The Navigator is also an additional resource throughout the cancer journey, connecting patients with community resources to provide other types of assistance.
