Our Shock Trauma faculty are committed to the fellowship education and mentorship needed to launch a successful career in orthopaedic trauma. However, the support that fellows receive from our program extends far beyond our faculty and fellowship year.
The Shock Trauma alumni network comprises more than 100 practicing traumatologists throughout North America who have an unparalleled academic presence. With this exceptional resource behind them, our Shock Trauma fellows receive outstanding support to pursue the career path of choice.
Our graduates tend to be particularly sought after for academic positions at level I trauma centers. Many, but not all, of our graduates wish to pursue academic positions, and more than 85% of our graduates accept positions at academic trauma centers.
