Have a Great Idea? Interested in Applying to the 2024 Innovation Challenge?
Do you have the next big idea? Join UMMC/UMB's Innovation Challenge, awarding ideas with up to $100K. We are looking for innovative solutions to problems at UMMC Downtown and Midtown Campuses. This year, six awards will be given, two for up to $25K and four for up to $100K.
Awards
Innovation at UMMC includes new or improved technologies, practices, models, or advancements that sustainably improve health outcomes, quality, safety, and experiences for patients, teams, families and communities on the UMMC Downtown and Midtown campuses.
We will be accepting applications for the following awards:
- 2 Awards of up to $25,000
- 2 Awards of up to $100,000
- 2 Awards of up to $100,00 that answers to the following Request for Proposal (RFP).
Who is eligible?
The UMMC/UMB Innovation Challenge is open to all! The only requirement is that each proposal must include at least one team member who is employed by the UMMC Downtown or Midtown Campus. Employee IDs will be required to confirm employment. Applicants applying to the Medical Device RFP award category are excluded from this requirement.
