Updates in Inflammatory Bowel Disease 2017 was the 9th University of Maryland School of Medicine Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Symposium. This in-depth symposium focused on treating patients with IBD and was intended for practicing gastroenterologists, surgeons, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, dieticians, and scientists. The presentations, discussion periods and interactive formats were intended to stimulate audience participation in the discussion of these timely topics.

The faculty for this CME-accredited symposium represents a combination of distinguished clinician investigators in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology as well as the Division of General and Oncologic Surgery and Pediatric Gastroenterology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
