On July 27, 2000, Tee Kelly, along with her four young children, visited the office of her obstetrician, Basharat Aziz, MD, for what she thought would be a routine sonogram. “I was full term and expected to give birth in a few days. The kids were so excited about their baby sister coming. When it was determined that the Mother Baby Unit at UM St. Joseph Medical Center needed to renovate the nursery to accommodate growing volumes, two of our most community-oriented members, Jim and Bette O’Conor stepped in with a lead gift to make this project a reality. Read the full story.
