UM Memorial Hospital Foundation Hosts Donor Appreciation Event

Appreciation was the theme of evening on November 29, 2018 at Talbot Country Club, as University of Maryland Memorial Hospital Foundation hosted its annual event for donors. Gathered for the occasion were donors and friends who supported various fundraising drives and events during the past year to benefit programs and services of UM Shore Medical Center at Easton, the Clark Comprehensive Breast Center, the Cancer Center and UM Shore Emergency Center at Queenstown.

Chestertown Wellness Providers Offer Tips at Diabetes Awareness Open House

UM Shore Regional Health Welcomes New Board Members

Two local community leaders, Robert D. Rauch, P.E., of Easton and Samuel T. Shoge, of Chestertown, have recently been appointed to the Board of Directors of University of Maryland Shore Regional Health. Talbot County native Robert D. Rauch has spent his career in professional engineering, construction management and commercial real estate. Presently, he is owner and president of A/E Consultant, Robert D. Rauch and Associates, RDR Commercial, LLC, RDR Environmental, LLC and Rauch Investments, LLC. 

Addie Eckardt Offers Proclamation for National Nurse Pracitioner Week at UM SRH

National Nurse Practitioner Week was celebrated this year November 11-17 by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. At UM Shore Regional Health, nine of the 39 UM Community Medical Group nurse practitioners (NPs)s gathered on Monday, November 12 for a reception to celebrate the accomplishments of the previous year. 

Shore Regional Health Announces New Chief Quality Officer

Diane (Dee) Murphy has joined the senior leadership team of University of Maryland Shore Regional Health as chief quality officer.  Murphy came to the regional health care network in August 2018 from Northwest Health, Arkansas where she served as system chief quality officer. In that capacity, she provided oversight for quality and performance improvement for five acute care hospitals and 35 physician practices. Previously, she was the chief quality officer at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center; she also served as a Navy nurse and a surveyor at the Joint Commission.
