Interventional Radiology uses minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat diseases. These techniques often minimize risk to patients and improve health outcomes. 

The Interventional Radiology team at University of Maryland Shore Regional health includes interventional radiologists, licensed radiologic technologists and registered nurses. Each member of the team has received specialized training in interventional procedures and advanced nursing care.
