The Adult Psychiatric Day Hospital functions as a step-down unit for patients who have been discharged from the UMMC Midtown Campus Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit, helping ease their transition back to the community.
Served by a dedicated team, the Day Hospital provides an individualized care plans that include:
- One-on-one sessions with a faculty-psychiatrist
- Group therapy sessions
- Medication management
- Case management
- Breakfast and lunch provided
- Transportation to and from the Day Hospital for patients who do not have their own means of getting there
Hours:
Monday - Friday: 8 am to 3 pm
