About Me
Heather Collison is a dedicated physician assistant with a specialized focus on asthma management and respiratory health. She has honed her expertise in diagnosing, treating and managing asthma and related respiratory conditions, such as COPD. She is well versed in the use of biologic injectable therapies, which represent the forefront of asthma management for patients with severe or difficult-to-control symptoms.
Collison prides herself on being consistently thorough and is known for her compassionate bedside manner. As a health care practitioner, she believes the greatest satisfaction comes from restoring quality of life for patients dealing with breathing problems daily. For each patient, she initiates tailor-made treatment plans specific to their disease process and severity. In addition, she educates patients and their families about asthma triggers, medication usage and lifestyle modifications to achieve better control over their condition.
Outside of work, Collison is an avid boater and a dedicated soccer coach, bringing the same enthusiasm and leadership skills to both hobbies as she does to patient care.
