About Me
Dr. Muthu is a noninvasive adult cardiologist. She has much experience treating a wide range of heart conditions. She aims to help patients take ownership of their heart health.
As a valedictorian and scholarship recipient in her youth, Dr. Muthu chose to pursue a career in medicine after experiencing the trials of her family’s health problems. She chose the cardiology field specifically because she wanted to positively impact the lives of people with heart disease, a leading cause of death among adults in the United States.
Dr. Muthu's practice is a unique model of astute clinical judgment. She maintains a nurturing, relaxed care environment for her patients. Very passionate about cutting-edge advances in the cardiology field, she previously served on the editorial board of the Journal of Medical Internet Research Cardio. She was also a technical content reviewer for CardioSmart magazine.
When she isn't helping patients, Dr. Muthu loves spending time with her family and, as a proud Marylander, exploring new restaurants and other places in the state. She is an avid supporter of many local charities.
