Dr. Sergeyeva is a board-certified endocrinologist whose clinical interests include the management of diabetes, thyroid disease (including performing thyroid biopsies) as well as other endocrine disorders.

She chose endocrinology as her specialty because it brings together the understanding of scientific concepts like biochemistry and genetics with the critical task of providing quality patient care.

"Being an endocrinologist resembles being a detective — taking the time to dig through records, ordering diagnostic testing (labs, imaging studies, dynamic endocrine testing) so that I can establish the right diagnosis and the right treatment can be administered," she says.
