About Me

An endocrinologist, Dr. Sriram believes in using the latest medications and technology to treat endocrine conditions. She has special interests in diabetes and endocrine disorders that affect the thyroid, adrenal and pituitary glands, and bones.

Dr. Sriram understands that all medications and other treatments come with risks that patients must be educated about to make informed decisions. She believes in establishing a good rapport with patients and understanding their day-to-day limitations so she can make recommendations that best assist them.

"I like helping people and I like interacting with them to help improve their health, which is not just about prescribing medications. I feel endocrinology, especially diabetes and thyroid management, gives me the best scope to do this," she says. "It gives me a lot of satisfaction to see my patients grow in knowledge and become healthier."

She offered suggestions for how to improve my blood work and gave me a time to come back and assess the changes made. She is very knowledgeable and carefully explained the side effects of the various medications that I might need to try in the future. She also explained the way the meds I am taking work. She never made me feel rushed and I felt I could ask all my questions, a true rarity among most providers! I think she is excellent!
