Our new hospital is open and ready to changeUP healthcare in Prince George's County.

Located in Largo in the heart of Prince George's County, our new state-of-the-art regional medical center offers improved access to primary and ambulatory care services, and serves as a tertiary care center for critically ill patients. Our new space allows us to expand our offerings as a community partner to help improve the health status of Prince George's County residents.

In partnership with the University of Maryland Medical System, UM Capital Region Medical Center was built from the ground up to meet the changing needs of our community:

• Level II Trauma Center
• 2 Helipads including one large enough to accommodate Marine One
• 24/7 emergency care with 41 treatment bays

In addition, Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital will have a15 bed specialty pediatric hospital within the Medical Center.
