Suma Hoffman, MD, is an assistant professor of pediatrics at University of Maryland Medical Center and the director of its Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). In this Grand Rounds presentation, Dr. Hoffman discusses the changes and advances in the 7th edition of the Neonate Resuscitation Program, as well as NRP certification and renewal.

Dr. Hoffman also directs the NRP residents, attendings and NPs training program at University of Maryland. She co-runs the neonatal fellow simulation curriculum for a more realistic approach to training fellows.
