Elyse Donahue, MS, BSN, CRNA is the Vice President, Perioperative and Procedural Care Services for the Midtown and Downtown Campuses at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Ms. Donahue's areas of strategic and operational oversight includes the operating rooms, endoscopy services, cardiac procedural services, preadmission testing, pre and post care units and central sterile reprocessing. Additionally, she works closely with UM SOM faculty and staff members to assure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.

Ms. Donahue joined our team as the Director of Nursing for Perioperative and Procedural Care in February 2020 and has proven to be a strategic and innovative leader. Prior to joining our team, she had extensive leadership experience to include a multi-facility Hospital System, all aspects of Perioperative Services, management of inpatient units and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services.

Ms. Donahue received a Master's in Science Degree in Anesthesia from Georgetown University, a Bachelors of Nursing from George Mason University, and an Associate Degree in Nursing from North Georgia College. She's a member of several high profile professional organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Executives and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
