Fortunately many childhood illnesses are common and easy to manage. You take your kids to the pediatrician for a quick visit and perhaps a prescription. But when things get complicated and need some specialized care, it's nice to know that those services are available right here in our community. Find a pediatrician.
Pediatric emergency physicians and nurses that are specially trained in emergency care for children and pediatric advanced life support are available at all times.
Nine exam rooms created for children have been outfitted with kid-sized equipment, instruments and supplies designed to make procedures as relaxed and easy as possible. We are an "ouchless" emergency department using the latest pain management techniques- including pin medicine, sedation and nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to make your child's stay as comfortable as possible. Because children's emergencies are different, we're here for you- our family caring for yours. You can reach our Pediatric Emergency Department at 443-643-2064.

- Dedicated staff, including pediatric hospitalists, available 24/7
- Toy closet with toys, books, activities, games and movies for all ages

We practice family-centered care and know that when your child is hospitalized, having loved ones close is important to healing. At our Center, kids and their families receive the utmost care and dedication from our team of experts.
We proudly staff a highly qualified and specially trained group of pediatric hospitalists 24/7. A pediatric hospitalist is a board-certified physician specializing in the care of children. The consistent coverage allows them to meet more conveniently with you and other family members, follow-up on tests, answer nurse's questions and manage any issues that may arise. They will also communicate with your child's pediatrician to consult on his or her progress.
Our Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation Department is staffed by pediatric occupational and physical therapists. The dedicated team provides compassionate care for children with developmental problems including autism, muscular dystrophy, Down's syndrome, learning disabilities, genetic disorders and sports injury prevention including rehabilitation.
