At University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health (UM UCH) we strive to provide the best health care services to the communities we serve. We aim to strengthen communities through promoting health and wellness with our various outreach programs.

Community Outreach and Health Improvement is dedicated to promoting health and wellness outside of the hospital and to increasing the quality of life in our local communities. Focusing on prevention and improving health outcomes, our team of professionals provides an expansive variety of health education, screenings, lifestyle management classes and information on referrals and local resources.
