UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center

Food and Drink

The Garden Cafe, located on the Garden Level is undergoing an exciting renovation and will be closed until mid-2023. 

Food at UM UCMC has the following temporary plan in place for visitors: 
There are three areas serving assorted hot and cold drinks, pre-made sandwiches and hot food items, salads and snacks.

• Ambulatory Care Center Coffee Shop (7:00 am - 2:00 pm, weekdays), located level 1 in building across from garage.
• Volunteer Gift Shop (9:00 am - 4:00 pm, weekdays), located in main hospital lobby of UM UCMC.
• Kaufman Cancer Center Coffee Kiosk (6:30 am - 7:00 pm; closed 10:00 am - 11:00 am) located on the first floor of the Kaufman Cancer Center lobby.

Community Food Trucks Parked outside our Emergency Department most weekdays. Hours and offerings vary.

Vending machines are located to the left of the Garden Cafe entrance in the hallway leading to the Emergency Department.

• Wi-Fi

Both campuses of UM Upper Chesapeake Health offer a number of a number of services to patients and visitors, including free wi-fi. To establish a wireless connection, choose the "public" network.

Gift Shop

Guests can purchase toiletries, gifts, reading materials and other items at the gift shop located in the main lobby.

ATM

Upper Chesapeake Medical Center has two ATMs on its campus. One in the vending machine area on the Garden Level by the Emergency Department. The other is on the 4th floor of the Klein Ambulatory Care Center, just outside of the elevators.

Food and Drink

Cafe 501, located on the ground floor, features a short-order grill, self-serve deli, snacks, salad bar and hot and cold beverages. It is open daily

  • Breakfast: 6:30–10 am
  • Lunch: 11 am–2 pm

Vending machines are just outside the main dining room of Cafe 501.

Gift Shop

In the main lobby, you will find the gift shop which carries magazines, newspapers, toiletries, snacks and gifts. For more information, call 443-843-5290.

ATM

An ATM is in the main lobby to the left of the information desk and next to the clergy office.
