Tristen Marie Holloway, CNM

Tristen Holloway is a certified nurse-midwife (CNM) and board-certified women's health nurse practitioner. Her specialties include advocating for skin-to-skin contact for the first hour of life and promoting breastfeeding and a baby-friendly environment.

Prior to joining University of Maryland Shore Medical Group, Holloway practiced at Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she cared for women from their prenatal visits through their postpartum visits in both inpatient and outpatient settings, helping to deliver babies and seeing patients for gynecological care in the clinic setting. She also worked at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, a high-risk facility. She was also an obstetrical and staff nurse at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she helped deliver intrapartum care to women experiencing a wide range of severe issues during labor as well as women experiencing fertility issues.

Holloway has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland. She completed her CNM certification in the Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Program at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
