When you or a loved one need 24/7 behavioral and mental health services, we can help. We offer short- and long-term inpatient care at multiple locations.
Acute Inpatient Treatment
The Behavioral Health Pavilion at UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center Aberdeen (UM UCMC Aberdeen) provides inpatient mental and behavioral health treatment for people 18 years of age or older who need short-term acute psychiatric care.
We provide a safe environment where patients receive a comprehensive evaluation and treatment from caring professionals. Patients will also receive help transitioning back to life within their home community.
Residential Care Services
Residential care at Klein Family Center is for adult guests who may need 24/7 behavioral health stabilization and supportive care.
Services include:
- assessment
- treatment
- behavioral health residential beds for short-term stays
- group and individual psychotherapy
- recovery and aftercare planning
- care coordination
- peer recovery support
Care is voluntary and you can leave when you want.
Medical Consultations
Specialists are available at both UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center Bel Air and UM UCMC Aberdeen to evaluate patients with psychiatric care needs who have been admitted to a medical care unit of the hospital. Our specialists will discuss the best next steps and treatment options with you.
