To guide and assist you through your surgical experience, the orthopedic team at University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center provides a total joint replacement class that can be completed online and/or in-person.

It’s recommended that you attend the in-person class or watch the online videos 30 days before your surgery, if possible. You are encouraged to use the videos and materials as a tool during all steps of your surgical journey.

    University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center’s Total Joint Replacement Class is held on the third floor of the Cancer Institute and has convenient parking available in the Patient/Visitor parking garage. On Blue Level B of the garage, patients and visitors can park and directly enter the Cancer Institute’s ground floor (Floor G) via glass sliding doors. Take the elevator up to the third floor and follow the signage to the classroom. Directions >

  • Bringing a Care Partner? If you are planning to bring your care partner with you to class, please make sure to click 'Add Enrollee' when you are registering. This link to register your care partner will be at the end of the registration process.
