Martha Francis, PhD, RN, FNP BC, AOCNP, CRNP

A nurse practitioner, Martha Francis has special interests in advance directive discussion; communication of emotionally vulnerable content (particularly pertaining to fears, values and goals); family-focused, holistic, oncologic medicine; solid tumor malignancies (abnormal, cancerous masses of tissue); and palliative care.

Francis leverages her education, clinical expertise and communication skills to provide exceptional health care to patients and families. This philosophy of care has resulted in improvements in the overall illness experience through aggressive symptom support, coordination of care and, most of all, supporting the human experience, with the goal of helping patients live well during and beyond illness.

Outside of work, Francis enjoys spending time with family, baking and being in nature.
