About Me
Dr. Patil diagnoses and treats various general gastroenterology conditions, with a special focus on inflammatory bowel disease. She performs colonoscopy and upper endoscopy, including the specialized technique of chromoendoscopy for dysplasia surveillance in inflammatory bowel disease.
Dr. Patil has special interests in medical training and education, serving as director of University of Maryland Medical Center’s gastroenterology fellowship program as well as director of the Digestion & Hormones course at University of Maryland School of Medicine.
