Dr. Saad A. Malik is an Instructor of Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Division of Transplantation. He received his medical degree from the National University of Science and Technology Army Medical College in Pakistan and completed his general surgery residency at the Armed forces postgraduate medical institute at the Combined Military Hospital and received board certification in surgery by the college of physicians and surgeons of Pakistan and the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
After serving as a general surgeon for several years, Dr. Malik completed a three-year abdominal transplant surgery fellowship in liver, kidney, pancreas and hepatobiliary surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
Dr. Malik brings a wealth of diverse surgical experience with unique trauma surgery experience from working in field hospitals in conflict and disaster struck regions for several years. He specializes in kidney, pancreas, and liver transplant and is particularly interested in Living Donor Liver transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery.
