About Me
Dr. Kenaa is a pulmonary medicine-trained clinician. She has a special interest in interstitial lung disease. Her interest in clinical care encompasses the delivery of intensive care unit (ICU) care through the utilization of tele-ICU services.
Dr. Kenaa’s research is focused on optimizing patient-centered, high-quality care. Her research project is a collaborative effort with the Division of Infectious Disease, under the mentorship of Dr. Surbhi Leekha, to identify opportunities for diagnostic stewardship in the diagnosis and treatment of ventilator-associated pneumonia.
As part of her interest in education and quality improvement, Dr. Kenaa is working on improving house staff engagement in patient event reporting and adverse event analysis, an initiative that was instituted during her previous appointment as house officer for Patient Safety and Quality Improvement.
