Rachel Granata Headshot

Growing up in Tampa, Rachel Granata earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. She transplanted to Maryland after earning her doctorate in physical therapy from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She complete a clinical internship in pelvic health at Johns Hopkins Greenspring Station in Lutherville-Timonium and now specializes in pelvic floor dysfunctions. Rachel has been practicing orthopedic and pelvic health physical therapy since joining the team at UM Upper Chesapeake Health in 2017. Rachel treats a range of pelvic conditions in children and adults including urinary and fecal incontinence, constipation and postpartum return to running. She has a special interest in treating painful intercourse and sexual dysfunctions and is studying sexuality counseling with Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania. She loves hiking, camping and travel. You can catch her on the trails of the Susquehanna or Gunpowder Falls in her free time.
