The Barbara L. Posner Wellness & Support Center

Located on the third floor with the Cancer Institute at UM St. Joseph Medical Center, The Barbara L. Posner Wellness & Support Center offers support services for cancer patients, including:

• Acupuncture and massage
• Healing therapies, such as aromatherapy, healing touch and guided imagery
• Mental health counseling
• Nutrition counseling
• Ongoing healing journey therapeutic workshops
• Yoga

The Wellness & Support Center is co-located with our outpatient Rehabilitation, which offers physical, occupational and speech therapies as well as lymphedema management.

Childbirth and Family Education Classes

In addition, The Barbara L. Posner Wellness & Support Center hosts our childbirth education classes.

The center's spacious and airy conference and multi-purpose rooms provide the ideal and safe setting for many of our classes for expectant parents.

Parking

As you enter the main hospital entrance from Osler Drive, the Cancer Institute will be on your left. To access the parking lot behind the building, take your first left as you approach the Cancer Institute from Osler Drive.

You will pass through a raised gate and can park anywhere in this reserved parking area.
