About Me
Mary Beth Thier is a nurse practitioner who specializes in pulmonary and critical care medicine. She has many years of nursing experience, having worked in worked in ambulatory care, emergency room and intensive care unit (ICU) settings. She is passionate about delivering the highest quality of care to her patients and mentors other nurses to do the same.
Thier received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in 2019 from The Pennsylvania State University. Her DNP project focused on improving care in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients. She received her Master of Science in Nursing (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner) degree in 2008 from Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
