Nurse practitioner Erika Ragan started her career working as a critical care registered nurse (RN) in Tallahassee, FL. After moving to Maryland in 2008, she worked as a critical care RN in the cardiac surgery ICU at UM St. Joseph for more than 10 years. She also served as the Nurse Manager of the UM St. Joseph Cardiac Surgery unit, before beginning her career as a nurse practitioner.

She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her children, husband and dogs, as well as traveling, exercising, gardening and reading.
