Erika Ann Borlie, DNP, WHNP BC

Erika A. Borlie has more than 21 years of experience as a women’s health nurse practitioner. Her specialties include obstetric and gynecologic care. She enjoys the personal connections she makes with her patients—from adolescence through menopause—in providing expert women’s wellness and diagnostic services.

In addition to her clinical practice, Borlie serves as an educator for Walden University (Minneapolis, Minnesota). She entered the nursing field in 1995 as a labor and delivery nurse. She received her Master of Science degree from the University of Maryland School of Nursing in 2001 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Drexel University in 2017. Her dissertation was about the impact of the Affordable Care Act on women’s health care.

Borlie has participated in several medical mission trips. A Maryland native, she is a member of Maryland Responds (Maryland Professional Volunteer Corps). She also volunteers with faith-based organizations.
