About Me
Dr. Wright is an anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist. She has special interests in diabetic neuropathy and spinal cord stimulation.
Dr. Wright is an assistant professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM). She is also program director of UMSOM's Pain Medicine Fellowship program. Currently, she is a member of the advisory board of the recently-launched Maryland Prescription Drug Monitoring Program.
Dr. Wright was named a Rising Star in the "Super Doctors" edition of Baltimore magazine. She was also named a U.S. News & World Report Top Doctor in 2011 and 2012. Dr. Wright received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and completed her residency in anesthesiology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. She also completed her fellowship in pain medicine at the University of Virginia.
