Joseph Watson, MD

Dr. Watson's clinical interests include diabetes, weight loss, sports medicine and ultrasound imaging. He is passionate about providing great heath care in a relaxed, patient-centered environment.

A Cecil County, Maryland, native, Dr. Watson has served as a volunteer instructor, mentor for medical students and sports coach. He was a family medicine rural scholar and has received humanism and end-of-life care awards. He completed his undergraduate and doctorate degrees and his family medicine residency at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. He was chief resident and has held various leadership roles in academic and social forums.

When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Watson spends much of his time outdoors with family and friends and his husky. He is an avid snowboarder and enjoys lacrosse and rugby.
