Beth A. Carella, DO

Dr. Carella is a pediatric hematologist and oncologist. She has special clinical interests in:

• Blood disorders
• Bone marrow failure
• Cancer
• Sickle cell disease
• Stem cell transplantation

Not only is she well-trained to care for children with cancer and blood disorders, but Dr. Carella also creates a warm, family-like care environment her patients feel very comfortable in. She believes that in caring for children, it is important to immediately acknowledge them when walking into an exam room and keep them engaged throughout their visit. "It provides them with a feeling of autonomy and control over a situation that may be incredibly overwhelming," she says.

When she isn't helping patients, Dr. Carella enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and dogs.
