Adam Jacob Weinstein, MD

A kidney doctor from Maryland, Dr. Weinstein has strong interest in helping to slow the progression of chronic kidney disease in patients. His clinical interests also include kidney stones and home and peritoneal dialysis therapies.

He continues to maintain a small clinical practice, seeing chronic kidney disease and peritoneal dialysis patients at University of Maryland Shore Regional Health's medical pavilion in Queenstown, Maryland. After completing his training in internal medicine and nephrology at University of Maryland School of Medicine and University of Maryland Medical Center, he co-founded the Kidney Health Center of Maryland and led it for a decade.

Dr. Weinstein has also served as a clinical vice president for University of Maryland Medical System and served on the Maryland Healthcare Commission and Renal Physicians Association (RPA) Board of Directors. He continues to serve the RPA as the representative to the American Medical Association's Relative Value Update Committee. He is DaVita Inc.'s first chief medical information officer.
