Dr. Gattu is an assistant professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She is board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine and has special interests in ultrasound guided musculoskeletal procedures and peripheral nerve stimulation for chronic pain.
Dr. Gattu received her medical degree from India and completed her residency in Anesthesiology at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. Her fellowship in pain medicine was completed at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Gattu is a member of International Spine Interventional Society and the American Society of Anesthesiologist.
