About Me
Dr. Feigelman has been practicing as a general pediatrician at the University of Maryland for more than 30 years. She specializes in the care of children of all ages, from birth to age 21. She has special interest in helping children diagnosed with failure to thrive, a condition in which a child doesn't grow or gain weight as expected. She enjoys meeting and caring for children and families over time and across generations.
To date, Dr. Feigelman's research has focused on the health status and health behaviors of vulnerable populations. She has participated in clinical and community-based research projects serving minority and underserved populations, including projects focusing on the prevention of HIV risk behaviors in adolescents, screening for psychosocial risk in parents of young children, new infant formula trials and vaccine efficacy studies.
