About Me

Dr. Fraiman founded The Liver and Pancreas Center at St. Joseph Medical Center in 2006.

Since its inception, The Liver and Pancreas Center has earned a respected reputation nationwide for its expertise in treating patients with liver, biliary, and pancreatic disorders.

Dr. Fraiman received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and completed a liver transplantation and hepatobiliary fellowship at UCLA, one of the nation's leading centers.

He is an expert in the Whipple procedure and complex hepatic resections.

  • Very personable, carring, and skillful

  • He was unprepared; never read my MRI until I asked him too and then changed the treatment plan. Said he'd refer me to an oncologist. Never did and it's over a week.

  • I was thrilled to have a doctor be so personable, kind, and attentive for the patient!!!
