About Me
John P. Foley, MD, (COL, U.S. Army, Ret'd) practices general urology. His special interests include prostate cancer, prostate cryosurgery, erectile dysfunction and penile implant surgery, Peyronie's disease/Xiaflex treatments, voiding dysfunction/BPH (including REZUM), men's health/testosterone deficiency and all aspects of kidney stone surgery. His true passions are clinical medicine and patient care.
Dr. Foley was certified by the American Board of Urology in 1994 and re-certified in 2002 and 2014. He previously served as chief of endourology, director of urodynamics and assistant chief of the urology service at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 1980 on an ROTC scholarship, he attended the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences Medical School at the National Naval Medical Center campus from 1980 to 1984, finishing as an Alpha Omega Alpha scholar.
Dr. Foley completed his urology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 1991.
