About Me
Dr. Carvajal (pronouns: she/her/ella) is a full-spectrum family physician who sees patients of all ages for primary, acute and chronic care. She has a specific clinical interest and expertise in reproductive health.
Additionally, she is a clinical researcher and educator with an interest in health equity, especially within the realm of reproductive health.
In 2021, she was named the Family Medicine Educator of the Year by the Maryland Academy of Family Physicians, and in 2022, she received the Dean's Faculty Award for Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
