Charles Fox Evans, MD

Dr. Evans diagnoses and provides the latest surgical treatments for a full range of heart conditions. As a cardiothoracic surgeon, he specializes in coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), heart valve surgery (repair and replacement), thoracic aortic aneurysm repair and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). He has particular interest and advanced training in aortic surgery.

Dr. Evans teams with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, echocardiographers, intensive care physicians, pulmonologists and other medical specialists to assess and treat heart disease. His philosophy of care is to treat each patient as if they were a member of his family. He believes it is important that the patient knows why they are seeing him, why the heart team is recommending a particular treatment and what to expect. He helps patients make well-informed decisions about their health.

In his free time, Dr. Evans enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, swimming, and running.
