UM CRMC Patients & Visitors
Welcome to UM Charles Regional Medical Center. Whether you are here for medical care or visiting a loved one, we want to provide you with the health information you need.
While we will provide you with the best care possible, it is important for each patient to have a trusted family member or friend to serve as an advocate.
To ensure effective communication for patients and visitors, we have access to interpreters for a number of languages, as well as qualified sign-language interpreters and auxiliary aids for hearing- and visually impaired patients. Please ask your nurse or other hospital personnel for assistance.
If you need to bring a child to UM CRMC for care, a parent or adult member of the immediate family will need to stay with that child during treatment.
To promote the health and wellness of the people and communities we serve, UM CRMC provides a smoke-free environment at all of our facilities. Smoking is permitted only within the confines of one's own personal vehicle while on our campuses.

Maryland's Consumer Protection Division warns that telephone scammers are "spoofing" local hospital and public utility numbers to trick people into giving out their personal and medical information over the phone. The incoming calls look like they are from a legitimate place on Caller ID, but then the scammer asks for Medicare, Medicaid and/or Social Security numbers. Some scammers even threaten to terminate Medicare benefits if you don't give them your personal information. Learn more about this consumer alert and how to protect yourself.
