An obesity medicine specialist, Dr. White treats high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and many other common illnesses related to obesity. She helps patients maintain or regain their health through education in diet, exercise, sleep and stress reduction.

Dr. White chose medicine as a career because she was passionate about helping people achieve and maintain good health so they can better focus on their goals. "It's difficult to create or realize a dream when you don't feel well," she says.

Dr. White believes that although the body is capable of healing itself, it sometimes needs assistance, through medications and/or procedures, and always requires a change from the patient, which she is committed to helping them make.
